I didn't like the idea of putting my mouth on a hose, so I thought I'd give this pump-action one a try. It was easy to use and did the job well. It took only a few pumps to get the water flowing out of the tank and into a bucket, and it seemed to do a good job of cleaning the gravel as well. I used it on a 10-gallon tank made by another company.
