That said, I like these. I have been using them for about a year now. Let's consider when you might like them, too.1. It cleans really well. It cleans from the water level in your bowl downwards. If your pipes deposit a bit of rust (or something) just under the rim of your toilet bowl, you'll need another cleaner or scrubber to get at that. These only clean where the water swirls around on its way down. That said, if you keep a toilet brush in your bath, you can just dip that brush in the bowl and scrub away under the rim. The "scrubbing bubbles" soap is already mixed into your toilet water, so you don't have to spray around the rim. Just grab a brush and go at it. 2. It has a strong smell. Yes it does. After applying a bit to the toilet bowl, it smells quite strongly. The smell become less powerful after 24-48 hours. Not to be too icky, but my bathrooms have poor ventilation. People are in and out of my bathroom constantly, so I needed constant help. These gels gave me just that! The bathroom ALWAYS smells good, even when I neglect it, and NO ONE has complained about the scent. (Lots better than what it COULD be!) So I dont kno where the other 2 reviewers are coming from. You stick a gel inside the toilet bowl and forget it. The scent refreshes the whole bathroom - even masking urine - and you never have to worry about a guest walking into the odor of the PREVIOUS guest because the guest bath ALWAYS smells fresh! If the scent is too much for you, place the gel inside the TANK at the water level (instead of in the bowl.) It doesn't last quite as long, but the scent is muted, and it still keeps the bowl clean! Give these a try for yourself, and see! |
