I have to scrub the toilet daily. Even then, it is difficult to keep the deposits from building up. The Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic Toilet Cleaner helps reduce the amount of scrubbing needed. I can actually go a few days without having to worry about deposits.However, it still isn't worth the money for these reasons: 1. It isn't eco-friendly. You have to get refills. Our recycling company won't take the discarded packs. 2. It costs too much and you have to keep buying refills. Add up the money you're spending and you can find a more economical way to keep the toilet clean. However, if it was very inexpensive I would consider using this regularly. 3. Noise and some malfunctions. Although it is not supposed to come on when someone is sitting on the toilet, we had our share of surprises (although rare). I really wanted to like this stuff. After all, who wouldn't love to have to scrub their toilet less? But here's what I found:Prior to getting this, I wasn't using any toilet cleaning products so I believe it was a fair test of the product. I clean my toilets with a brush on an "as needed" basis. This means that when the bowl gets visible deposits, especially immediately after flushing, I take the brush and give it a good scrub. Without using any cleaning products, I had to do this approximately every 5-7 days (other than spot cleaning). My hope for the Scrubbing Bubbles product was that it would take care of most stuff and I would only have to scrub the bowl occasionally. First, installation. I was surprised when I opened the box to find there were so many parts to put together. However I carefully read the instructions, and got it put together correctly. When I saw this product available on the Vine program, I thought I would try it out. If there is a product that can lessen the time spent cleaning the bathroom, why not try it out? Well, it has been almost a month and my findings are as follows:Good: 1. Set up was fairly easy. There are quite a few parts, but if one reads through the instructions, this product is simple enough to put together. It allows for the product to sit on the floor next to toilet, or to hang from the tank - I elected to hang it from the tank. 2. The toilet bowl has remained cleaned during the time I have had the product installed. I generally like the product line of Scrubbing Bubbles, and this did not disappoint in this regard.
