5.0 out of 5 stars Great against calcium deposits!, October 31, 2010

I used 'The Works' on a couple of toilets that had at least 10 years of calcium deposits. It took some scrubbing, but this has been the only product I've used that actually removes the calcium deposits left by well water. I also wanted to clean the shower. I squirted out some onto the tub floor and left it there. A couple of minutes later I went back and those areas with the gel on them had completely come clean from the calcium deposits. Excellent product.

1.0 out of 5 stars Does Not Work On Calcium Deposits, July 20, 2012

Does not remove hard water build up. It is a fine cleaner, but when I bought it, "The Works" was advertised as a water mark remover and it doesn't remove hard water build up. I see the price has gone up from the $2.39 plus $7.15 shipping I paid in June 2012. If you want to remove calcium, get a pumice stone. You have to get your hands in the toilet, but it will remove the marks.
